HOW MUCH TIME IS INVOLVED?
There are 3 shifts: 8-9; 10 to 11:15 and 12 to 1:15 pm. Volunteers are able to attend Mass and still volunteer. First shift arrives at 8 a.m. to set out tables and chairs, make coffee and lemonade, set out donuts and paper products. The 2nd shift begins immediately after the 9 am Mass to greet parishioners and refill items and prepare for the next shift. The 3rd shift begins immediately after the 11 am Mass to greet parishioners, refill items as needed and assist with clean up. We kindly request that you find your own substitute if you are not able to make your shift.
CAN THE WHOLE FAMILY VOLUNTEER?
Children are welcome to help as long as they are supervised by a parent.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT TO DO?
A team leader will be present to assist. There is a description of the duties involved on the Sign Up Genius page. The church provides all the supplies and food.
COFFEE & DONUT TEAM LEADER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are also in need of several people to volunteer for the Coffee & Donuts team leader position. This team would be in charge of opening and closing procedures as well as overseeing the volunteers in the performance of their duties. Currently, we only have one person helping in this capacity. Please contact Jeannie Wesley if you are interested in learning more about this service: firstname.lastname@example.org.
