For those who sense the Lord Jesus inviting them into a deeper life of prayer, discipleship, and union with Him, this session offers an introduction to Ignatian Meditation and Contemplation—a prayerful way of encountering Christ personally through Sacred Scripture.
Rooted in the Ignatian invitation to “make a little time for God, and rest a while in Him,” we will learn how to slow down and become more attentive to the Lord’s presence and action in our lives.
Through the teaching of Fr. Timothy Gallagher, we will be introduced to the practical foundations of Ignatian meditation and contemplation. Drawing on his clear and accessible guidance, we will learn how to engage the imagination, enter into Gospel scenes, and listen for the voice of Jesus speaking personally to our hearts.
As we draw closer to God in prayer, we begin to experience His presence more deeply—discovering His love, His peace, our true identity, and our ultimate purpose in Christ. Through the Word of God, we encounter not an idea, but the living Jesus.
Everyone welcome!
