Introducing: Helping Hands Ministry

Christ the King has a brand new ministry to better serve our parish community: Helping Hands Ministry!

Helping Hands Ministry volunteers will help with a wide variety of tasks such as:

  • Lawn care
  • Transportation to appointments, church, etc.
  • Light housekeeping / laundry
  • Meals
  • Homebound Communion
  • Funeral luncheon service team
  • Small shopping / errands
  • Simple home repair tasks
  • Respite care

Helping Hands is perfect for the person who is able to make small time commitments (ex: an hour every other week) or whose irregular schedule makes consistent service a challenge. Helping Hands is looking for lots of volunteers! Folks must be at least 16 years old to serve.

Here are upcoming sign-up opportunities:

In Person: March 21 & 22, after all Masses. Look for the large posters.
