A few weeks ago, a documentary film, Francesco, came out in which Pope Francis was presented as making remarks about civil unions that were causing confusion among the faithful. Subsequent analysis of the film revealed that the pope’s comments had been edited and taken out of context.
The Vatican Secretary of State shared with papal representatives a statement to be shared with their bishops providing some context to this remark. The Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Abp.
