2014 Engagement Survey

First, we would like to thank all those who completed our member engagement survey, and the 150 who attended the All-Parish meeting to review the results on March 3, 2014.

We have included links to the presentations given by Dr. Al Winseman for the meetings as well as our Member Engagement Survey Results below.

Engagement is an important measure of the emotional attachment of our members to our parish and a key factor leading to spiritual health.  Engagement is hard to define, but is something like the sense of belonging we feel to the parish (like a family) and also the energized, positive environment that is often present among people being actively led by the Holy Spirit.  For most individuals, belonging is the start of their journey toward surrendering their lives to Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:42-46).

Over the coming year we will be focusing on those things you identified in the survey that will hopefully make a big difference in engagement.  While we recognize the importance of these efforts, we also need to be careful not to let them get in the way of important parts of our life as a parish.  We will be communicating  and involving you in this process starting in the next month.

Thank you again for your love of Christ the King and all you have done to make our parish what it is!
