Recently, Archbishop Joseph Naumann, Chair of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Pro-Life Activities, wrote an excellent short article, “Priorities at the Polls.” It provides a brief overview of Catholics’ responsibilities to protect and defend human life as we approach the polls. It explains why the U.S. bishops recently affirmed, “The threat of abortion remains our preeminent priority.”
