Science of Sainthood – St. Teresa of Avila’s Nine Grades of Prayer – Prayer isn’t just our conversation with God. It’s part of our transformation in Christ and our movement into God’s own life. Through it, we literally become “partakers of the divine nature” of God” (2 Peter 1:4). And while all prayer falls into the major categories of vocal, meditative, and contemplative prayer, there’s a lot more to it. In fact, there are many levels of prayer through which we need to progress in order to achieve union with God. And St. Teresa of Avila, the Doctor of Prayer, draws this all out in her famous Nine Grades of Prayer which detail our ascent to God. So, join us as we study and pray together! Register here.
