Christ the King Women’s Retreat 2024: “Our Living Hope”

Christ the King Women’s Retreat 2024: “Our Living Hope” – This year, our women’s retreat will be based on 1 Peter 1:3-9, which talks about heaven, joy, hope, and trials. We’ll focus on how we can have hope and joy as we look to our inheritance which is “imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.”

Our speakers will be Debbie Herbeck, Heather Khym and Rachel Herbeck. We are excited to have them join us!

This retreat is for all women, high school age and older.

Cost: $80/person for the whole retreat, $60/person if only staying on Saturday until 4:00 pm, $20 for Friday only. There will be gluten-free options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please don’t let cost be a barrier! Scholarships are available! Online payment will be available soon, you can also pay on the day of the retreat by cash or check.

Meet our Speakers!

Debbie Herbeck

For the last 40 years, Debbie has worked extensively in youth and women’s ministry, speaking, leading mission trips, and mentoring high school and college age women. She is the founder and executive director of Pine Hills Girls Camp. Debbie is also the founder and director of the Be Love Revolution, a ministry that exists to help young women encounter Christ and be His love to all they meet. She has written and co-written many books and is a frequent speaker/writer for Blessed is She and contributing writer for Undone: Freeing your Feminine Heart from the Knots of Fear and Shame.

Debbie and her husband Peter live in Ann Arbor, Michigan and have 4 adult children and 9 grandchildren.

Heather Khym

Heather Khym is the cohost of the internationally popular Abiding Together Podcast. She and her husband, Jake, are the cofounders of Life Restoration Ministries, where she serves as director of vision and ministry of the British Columbia-based apostolate. Heather also serves as director of the Celtic Cross Foundation. She has more than twenty-five years of experience as a speaker and retreat leader, offering workshops and conferences in the United States and Canada. She attended Franciscan University of Steubenville, studying theology and catechetics. Heather is passionate about evangelization, discipleship, and creating an environment for people to have a personal encounter with God.

She lives with her husband and three teenage children in British Columbia, Canada.

Rachel Herbeck

Rachel Herbeck is the Director of Missionaries for id. She received her BA in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has worked extensively in youth ministry and she speaks to youth and young adults at retreats, conferences, and events in the US and Canada.

Rachel is passionate about life issues and has worked for multiple pro-life and political organizations both in Minnesota and Washington, D.C. Before joining the id team, she worked for the Minnesota Catholic Conference, where she did outreach and lobbied on behalf of the Catholic Bishops of Minnesota. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
