“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Our desire is that everyone would have a life changing encounter with Jesus. Participation in Alpha and the Alpha Team is one way that we hope to facilitate this encounter. We also strive for an hospitable and invitational culture that shows all parishioners that they are loved and welcomed. Through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), those who are interested can take steps to become members of the Catholic Church.
Is there more to life? Yes. No. Maybe. Probably? We all have questions that we want answered. Alpha provides an opportunity for those questions to be answered. Alpha is a series that seeks to answer the deepest questions core to our identity through meal-sharing, prepared talks and open conversation. It’s about discovering, discussing, and finding a place to belong with friends, both new and old. Everyone is welcome. No question is too simple, no answer prepared. To find out more about current sessions, please visit our Alpha page.
Children entering the 1st through 6th grades.
Adult volunteers are needed! We have a Nursery (for up to 3 years) and a Pre-K (4 and 5 year olds) available for the children of volunteers. Adults are welcome to volunteer even if they don’t have children participating in VBS!
Teen volunteers are greatly appreciated and receive valuable service experience. For ages 12 to seniors in high school.
