Witness to Hope Capital Campaign Update

Thank you everyone who made a pledge for the Witness to Hope capital campaign or a donation to the Space Needs Fund and have been dutifully making payments on those pledges. Thanks to your generosity we now have enough funds to finish the lower level! We plan to start construction in the Spring.

The capital campaign raised about $2.5 million with approximately $1.0 million going to support the wider-church priorities which included strengthening parishes, setting up an endowment to support Catholic education, evangelize, support Catholic Charities, care for priests, and support ongoing ministry.

The remaining $1.5 million, along with some Space Needs funds, will be used to finish the lower level of our Church building, which was one of the main priorities of our capital campaign. The lower level will provide needed space to support our vibrant parish life including evangelization and community building. We will complete 3 or 4 classrooms, a large space for receptions and conferences, a full-service kitchen, restrooms, and storage areas.

Please keep this exciting launch in your prayers. Thank you again for your sacrificial support. If you have questions or would like more information, we invite you to attend an information session in the parish center following each of the Masses on September 17 and 18.

May God bless you!
