“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24
The core of our life is the worship that we give to the Lord. This worship is the foundation of the rest of the Discipleship Pathway. At Christ the King, there are many ways that we engage in worship. First and foremost is our participation in the Mass. However, we also have opportunities to worship the Lord in Adoration and at Upper Room praise and worship. Our goal is to joyfully worship the Lord in all that we do.
Adoration Chapel
“Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2628).
Thanks to the commitment and devotion of many parishioners and others in the area, we are extremely blessed to have a Chapel for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.
Upper Room
Upper Room is a time of praise, worship, and teaching that takes place twice a month. Everyone is welcome to join us in praising and worshiping our Lord through song, listening to His word, and exploring the charismatic gifts. Personal prayer ministry is also available on select gatherings. For more details about Upper Room and our Prayer Ministry, please visit our Upper Room page.
Women’s Prayer Meetings
We handle life better when we let God handle our life! Our Women’s Prayer Meeting is back this fall! Join us on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., in Parish Center Room 4. These gatherings run from September through May and provide a welcoming space for women to come together in prayer and fellowship.
