- Liturgy of the Word for Children – available for children ages 3 – 2nd grade, during Sunday 9:00 & 11:00 am Mass. Begins September 8.
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd – available for children ages 3 – 6th grade. Start dates vary depending on session. For sessions dates and times click here.
- Grades 1-5 catechesis – Weekly on Wednesdays, 4:15-5:45 or 7:00-8:30pm. First class – September 6
- First Confession & First Communion prep. Please review the options for sacrament prep. You must register your child, by clicking on the registration button below, regardless of which option you choose.
NOTE: Family must be registered parishioners of CTK and attend Mass at CTK at least 3 Sundays a month in order for child to receive First Communion at CTK. You must also submit a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate by October 1, 2024 if child was not baptized at CTK.
OPTIONS:
1. Attend 2nd grade weekly religious education classes on Wednesdays (see session times above).
2. Receive catechesis for sacrament prep at a Catholic School (SSA/HVCS) or Homeschool, coming to CTK only for readiness interviews and to receive the sacraments.
3. Attend Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (2 year program, beginning in first grade year, with 5 additional Saturday morning sessions and a retreat). NOTE: Use the registration link below to select “CGS” as your option for sacramental prep AND visit the CGS page to register your child for a session day/time. - Confirmation, years 1 & 2 (sacramental prep for 7th & 8th grade) – Meets twice a month on Sundays, combined with FUEL, 7:00-9:00pm.
- Fuel (6th-8th grade) – middle school youth ministry with praise & worship, social time, talks & small groups, and catechesis- alternating Sundays 7:00-9:00pm. Welcome Night – September 10
- A1:8 – weekly high school youth ministry with praise & worship, social time, talks & small groups on Tuesday 7:15-9:30pm yearlong.
Note about Fuel and A1:8: Prayer Ministry will be offered at events throughout the year at A1:8 and Fuel. By sending your child to these events, you are consenting to them receiving prayer ministry. If you would like more information about this, contact John Hoving (jhoving@ctkcc.net).
